Challenge
A customer was looking for a special gripper that can insert food packaging (cream cheese) into different layers in a box.
Solution
The gripper was equipped with long gripper fingers made of stainless steel. The gripper also features an XY compensation unit to compensate for position tolerances, wide-ranging pivoting drives to pivot the packaging individually and an active hold-down device to secure the packaging position.
